The Big Metrics

These metrics provide at-a-glance metrics on your work today. They’re designed to give you a high level view and let you compare today with your average day!

Aggregated apps & websites

Let’s you see what you’ve spent your time on at a glance, check that things are categorised correctly, and recategorise things.

Current Session

This is a lightweight way to check in on what’s up right now, and recognise if you need some help focusing. If you do, click the Focus button to pop up a little widget at the bottom of your screen that adapts to what you’re doing, and turns red if Magicflow thinks you’re getting distracted.

The Comparison graph

Compares your current day so far to how you were doing at the same time on your average day recently. The goal here is to let you easily see if you’re spending more or less time working than normal and how the rest of your day might go.

The Timeline

The Timeline provides an at-a-glance view of how your day has been distributed so far, and makes it easy to spot when you’ve been working, distracted, or away from your computer.

The Breakdown

The Breakdown graph shows how all your time has been spent, giving you a super-intuitive high-level summary of what’s been happening. It’s great for seeing if you’re spending your time in the areas most important to you, seeing how much of your day has been spent in deep or shallow work, and seeing how many different categories of work you’ve been doing today. It’s great at providing you with good motivation to make this graph have lots of deep work at the end of the day!
